Install Cycad Central on your phone

Cycad Central is not in the App Store or Play Store. You add it straight from your browser — it then sits on your home screen with its own icon and opens like any other app.

Android phone (Chrome)

  1. 1Open www.cycadcentral.com in Chrome — not inside WhatsApp or Facebook.
  2. 2Tap the three dots at the top right of Chrome.
  3. 3Tap "Add to Home screen" (sometimes shown as "Install app").
  4. 4Tap "Install" or "Add" to confirm. The cycad icon appears with your other apps.

iPhone and iPad (Safari)

  1. 1Open www.cycadcentral.com in Safari. Chrome and in-app browsers cannot install it on iPhone.
  2. 2Tap the Share button (a square with an arrow pointing up) in the Safari toolbar.
  3. 3Scroll down the list and tap "Add to Home Screen".
  4. 4Tap "Add" at the top right. The cycad icon appears with your other apps.

If you cannot find the install option

  • You may have opened the link inside WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram. Those built-in browsers cannot install apps — tap the three dots and choose “Open in browser” first.
  • On an iPhone you must use Safari. On Android, use Chrome or Samsung Internet.
  • Make sure the address shows www.cycadcentral.com. A preview or shared link may not offer installing.
  • Private or incognito browsing blocks installing — use a normal window.
  • It may already be installed. Check your home screen and app list for the cycad icon before trying again.
